2016 Club Blitz Champ
Kai Tabor
An exciting double round robin tournament ending up in a 3-way tie with Tony Cipollina, Rolly Weaver and Kai Tabor each with 15 points. It looked as though the defending Champion, Tony, was going to retain his title but then he met Kai Tabor, in the next to last round, needing only a draw he got outplayed dropping both games forcing a 3-way tie for first. In a double round robin play-off, the first round went to Kai winning 2 games from Rolly. In round 2 Rolly bested Tony 2-0. The final round Tony and Kai were paired. All Kai needs is a draw. The first game went to Tony, if Tony wins the 2nd game it will be another 3-way tie....but Kai pulled it out and became the 2016 Club Blitz Champion.
